About Us
Renatto
I love Jesus, I love my wife, I love my kids and I love my job. I cannot honestly tell you that things were always in that order. In fact, up until Jesus got a hold of my rebellious heart, I and my job (music) were always #1. In this Christian journey that I have been on now for 14 years, I can’t claim that I have it down and all is well, but I can tell you in all sincerity that ever since that night I quietly asked Jesus to come into my broken, desperate and frightened heart in front of my fish tank, I have began to experience something that the things in this world never gave me... JOY! Not only happiness.

My problem was that I was looking everywhere in this world to find “happiness”. I can’t lie to you... I did find happiness in things like my rock-n-roll shows, beer and girls. However, at the end of the night when my show was done, the keg was empty and the girls went home... I was always left feeling like “this can’t be over!”.

I know this: “Happiness” comes from happenstance, but joy comes from fullfillment! I don’t care what it is in this world that you are trusting in to find fullfillment, but if you can see it, touch it or smell it... it has beginning and an end and so will your contentment. However, Jesus is forever... He has no beginning and He has no end. If you look to Him, fullfillment will also be forever!

You shall show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:1

It was the end of November in 1993, I was vacating my condo in Southern California after my fiancé and I had recently split up when I fell to my knees, surrendered my heart to Christ and asked Him to start a new work in my life.

*Ephesians 3:20 - Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us

By this time, my brothers Eddie and Renatto had already been walking with the Lord and had formed the music ministry of Two Or More with our friend Lance. Just a few weeks after I had been going to church with them, I was asked to join Two Or More to sing and play percussion with them. I graciously accepted, not knowing what was to come.

About a month later, we were invited by Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (Southern California) to share a song at their Thursday night study with Pastor Chuck Smith. After that evening, the Lord began to open up doors of ministry opportunities for Two Or More.

By 1995, we signed with a major Christian record label in Nashville, TN. It was during that time that I met my wife. We were married just a few months before the release of our first CD in 1996. Upon release of “Life In The Diamond Lane”, Two Or More was presented with ministry opportunities to tour the U.S. and Latin America. After much prayer and consideration, my brothers and I were lead to pursue our calling of full-time music ministry.

For over 15 years, we’ve been blessed with the privilege to share our gift of music and to see many come to the saving knowledge of Christ.

We look forward in great anticipation to what the Lord has for us as we continue in His service.

*Matthew 28:19 – Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

Playing guitar is my passion and once was my God. Everything I said or did revolved around music and playing guitar. Even though I was doing something I really loved to do, there was still a sense of emptiness in my life. One day, while someone was talking about Christianity at a band rehearsal, I said “Hey, I’m a Christian”; being raised in a religious home myself, I continued by saying something like: “I this...”, “I that...” Then a question was asked: “Have you ever thought of what God did for you and not what you did? John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. I began to think, saved from what? Those scriptures somehow caused me to open my eyes and really examine myself and what it meant to really be a Christian because I thought I was. I was invited to a Wed bible study which I attended a couple of weeks later and I came to a place where I had a hard time admitting that I had been wrong and had been living a life of sin in the eyes of God. Can you say PRIDE? Well that in itself is a big sin. A few days later, after struggling with that issue, I asked God to forgive me in a short heart felt prayer. PSALM 33:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye.

By saying: I believe in God, I pray, I’m a good person, I go to church, etc. was a little arrogant and immature. I’d rather let people see what I am and do rather than sound boastful about it. Actions speak louder than words. Only when others see Jesus in you will they be naturally drawn to ask you the question someone asked me.

Playing guitar is my passion and once was my God. Today the passion I have for my instrument is driven by the love and passion I have for Jesus. Be real and be in His Word, Psalm 119:105, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Luke 9:23 - Then He (Jesus) said to them all, ”if anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross DAILY, and follow me.

P.S. I enjoy playing/watching baseball, soccer, tennis, I like traveling, all types of foods. Not crazy about shaving, sitting in traffic, yard work and hot days
